Looking up at a tree from the ground

Our Mission

LongLeaf was created from a simple belief: that nature offers powerful insights for how we live, work, and lead. In a time when many people feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in unsustainable patterns of work, the natural world can help us rediscover balance, clarity, and perspective. Through nature-informed workshops, retreats, and talks, LongLeaf creates spaces where individuals and organisations can slow down, reflect, and reconnect – with themselves, with others, and with the wider living world. Drawing inspiration from ecology, mindfulness, cognitive science, shinrin yoku (forest bathing) and the rhythms of nature, our work supports more thoughtful leadership, deeper wellbeing, and new ways of approaching modern work. Our aim is not simply to take people into nature, but to help them learn from it, by cultivating insight, resilience, and a sense of belonging.

Dr Eve Hepburn

“Eve has a special gift, a sense of awareness about Mother Nature and her invisible workings. She’s on a mission to share this gift with us, a gift that we all desperately need to incorporate back into our lives.”
